Administrative, financial, clerical position with local Township. Significant interaction with public officials, residents, other Township employees, in which the position must be responsive.
Duties will include:
*Assist Secretary-Treasurer and provide back-up coverage
*Prepare agendas for meetings
*Attend meetings and keep records ( evening hours required for meetings)
*Maintain records and files
*Answer residents questions and complaints
*Oversee financial record maintenance and files including collection of monies and fees and perform bookkeeping functions
*Prepare monthly Treasurer's Reports
*Assist in preparation of annual budgets
*Must be able to secure a bond of minimum of $1,000,000.
*Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented
*Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, QuickBooks
*Knowledge of regulations for maintaining public agency records
*Local government experience
Pay rate $17.30/hr. Temp to hire.
