OUR HISTORY: For three generations, Gage has continued to align its services to the needs of our community. Founded by Donna and Paul Gage, Gage Handy opened in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania in 1985. Donna’s expertise in national staffing allowed her to excel in creating a foundation for a strong business. In 1986, Gwen Gage joined her mother-in-law as the business grew. In 1990, Bill Gage joined the business when his mother retired. Together, Bill and Gwen grew the business into the top local staffing firm in Berks County, opening additional office locations in Lancaster County with a team of experts. In 2008, Kristi Gage joined the family business as their daughter and business partner, stepping into leadership in 2010.  Through three generations of leadership and a team of tenured experts, Gage is recognized as the leading provider of staffing and recruiting services in Southeastern Pennsylvania, connecting hundreds of people with careers each week.

For companies hiring a large volume of temporary or seasonal employees, our On-Site Management Program allows a key staff member from Gage to manage various day-to-day aspects of your customized staffing program.
Gage provides an alternative solution to its customers, allowing companies to maintain control over their recruiting, screening and selection process while reducing their risk by placing employees on Gage’s payroll at a reduced cost.
